Koko Route

I wish there was a ‘Before’ photo to use for comparison but there isn’t. Cameras weren’t as commonplace as they are now. Come to think of it, my father did have a camera but we just didn’t bother to take a picture of the road. I didn’t think there would be a need, but now here I find myself; attempting to paint a picture armed with nothing but words and nostalgia. We moved to Adenta, a suburb of Accra, from Tamale, the capital of the Northern Region back in 1995; my parents, two elder sisters and yours truly.
