Kenya's elections are always lively, intense and sometimes controversial....and the specter of ethnic tribes is always present. This accounts for the dominance of certain names or families in the ballot selections. On August 8th, Uhuru Kenyatta and Raila Odinga will battle for the Kenyan Presidency with the incumbent having only a small lead this time. This small lead has experts believing it is a result of the millennial voter in Kenya straying away from the traditional tribal lines of voting and starting to be more independent thinkers.
