when i was young and all was idyllic; i knew life wasn't easy. sure i was growing up middleclass but still some things came by the hard way.I had to beg for six months to get a playstation and for two years to get a playstation 2 , by the time i got it ,the playstation 3 was already out but hey!i loved my two all the same.I knew life wasn't easy as my folks argued and i struggled with body image ,as my classmates went abroad every summer and all i had was the made up stories i somehow came up with, i wasn't a liar ,at least i didn't see myself as one ; i just had to survive.
I knew life wasn't easy but when the grind hit and the progress became jagged ,it dawned on me just how hard it really was to make it in life. One mistake and you can be at the deep end , struggling to stay afloat as the waves hit you without mercy. At that point when failure seems to have scarred your soul, do you give up? or do you press on , hoping that tomorrow will be a brighter day, full of opportunities to seize upon.you do just that, you hold on, have faith and God will make a way.
